Movies will likely be on the horizon soon. Playing such a beloved character as The Punisher, Bernthal’s fame will only grow in the coming years. Of course, there’s also the second season of Stranger Things coming. The first two possessions of the second half were punts, but the Rams finally got on board late in the 3rd quarter. One of our personal favorites, The Rundown isn’t a great movie by any stretch; it features a fairly predictable plot and some pretty corny moments, but damn if it isn’t just a whole lot of fun to watch.

Prior to hitting it big as the star and title character of Netflix’s Luke Cage, American actor Mike Colter was a largely unknown supporting player who had small parts in movies such as Zero Dark Thirty and Million Dollar Baby, and guest spots on television shows such as ER and American Horror Story.

And while Finn Wolfhard (who plays Mike Wheeler), Gaten Matarazzo (who plays tooth challenged Dustin Henderson), and Millie Bobby Brown (who plays the mysterious Eleven) are not household names yet, their fame and stock in Hollywood is certainly on the rise after starring in this creepy 80s throwback series. While this is by no means Willis’ best action flick, the story is strong enough to keep you hooked, the chemistry between Willis and Mos Def works, and above all else, 16 Blocks is chock full of exciting and over-the-top action sequences. The story is a little ridiculous, but it works. Sure, the story is a little far-fetched, but the acting is excellent (other than LL Cool J, but he also contributes one heck of a cheesy outro song, so all is forgiven) and the action scenes are as entertaining as they are frightening. Filled with quality action and drama that doesn’t veer too far into cheese, Tears of the Sun is a quality watch that most definitely deserves the positive run its received on late-night cable. Helmed by Training Day director Antoine Fuqua and starring Bruce Willis, Monica Bellucci, and Cole Hauser, Tears of the Sun follows Lieutenant Walters (Willis) as he and his team of Navy SEALS attempt to extract a doctor (Bellucci) from the war-torn nation of Nigeria. Released in 2008, Timur Bekmambetov’s Wanted follows the boring everyday life of office worker Wesley Gibson (James McAvoy). Among the best known actors on this list prior to starring in a Netflix series, Ellie Kemper gained some fame from her supporting role as receptionist Erin Hannon on The Office, and also had a supporting turn in the box office hit movie Bridesmaids.
